In Like a Lamb
Well, the weather in Denver has been pretty nice these first couple of days of March. Â It’s been “in like a lamb” here. Â And that describes our gaming schedule too. Â Nothin’ much happening right now. Â February and March seem to be busy months on everyone’s calendar, creating a drought of ideas from the SR crew.
What’s On the Table
Since our dice haven’t been clattering on the table, what’s going on here? Â At SR-West, Dante & I have been throwing back and forth ideas on possibilities to play with a smaller group. Â And I’ve been continuing my game play in Dragon Age: Origins after surviving the two weeks of no X-Box while it was out for repairs.
We’ve also gathered a small stack of books for evaluation. Â Without active gaming, it’s been harder to really review some of these, but we’re looking forward to preliminary reviews as we work through our scheduling difficulties. Â I’m really looking forward to the DA rpg, which I have acquired but haven’t finished reading. Â And Dante, of course, is looking forward to throwing evils at us from the Underdark.

I’ve had a drought of play myself. I just recently got to run a one-shot of Where No Man Has Gone Before. (I should note that one of the players want to play it some more). Honestly, one of the reasons I originally started my blog was to give me an outlet for gaming, since I wasn’t actively playing. I wish you luck at getting your gaming groove back on.
No Drought here, but I have to say that I enjoy my IRC play almost as much as live. I do a short (1.5-2) hour session every week like clockwork…and it sure takes care of the worst part of the jones.
We have a east coast game, but some west coast players, as well as one who is moving from Hawaii to Japan…
@Bonemaster: We’ve tried to organize one-shots, but they don’t seem to get too far. We did have a board-game night when our regular gaming night fell through, but it’s just not the same. We’ve managed to organize everyone for this weekend, so here’s to hoping for some good gaming!
