Gary Gygax 1938-2008

I just read that Gary Gygax died.
I met him a couple times, he was always very nice. He helped make something that shaped the person I turned out to be, and we’ll all miss him.
When I was at lunch, I bought a Mountain Dew and poured one out on the curb for our dear departed Dungeon Master. It seemed kinda silly, but I didn’t really know what else to do.
Aim for the higher planes, old friend. 🙁
Rest in peace, Gary. You’ll be missed.

I just stumbled into this blog, googling Gary Gygax… I feel sad for him, he was a great guy and made many cool things in his life. Nice guiding Gary, you were the first to score a natural 20, credits for that.
